Team registrations will open on the web Jan 1st! Baseball is right around the corner! There is some information here https://baseballmaine.com/team-registration/ as well as the link to the national site for sign-ups. If you are a new team or a new team manager, please touch base with me as National has a couple suggestions on account creation to make your workflow easier year after year. If you are a returning manager, no changes necessary at this time. Also, I have worked with the Protect Youth Sports folks to streamline the background check system and I hope you find the process more user friendly. Please let me know.

If you know of someone planning a team not on this list, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!!! Also if you do NOT see a town/area on this list, that means no team has reach out to me with the intent to form. So until someone decides to form a team the regions are open. This means that a new team may form, or the players living in that area are free to try out for the team closest to them. Please see recruiting rules or ask questions, but I would expect and encourage teams to approach neighboring areas to attract players to their Base. Also it is a great idea to reach out to surrounding areas/coaches/etc to encourage them to form teams.
I have not received any proposals for hosting the 2025, 2026, or 2027 state tournaments. At this point I will only look to 2026 and 2027 planning. If there is ANY interest, please contact me directly.
We will be conducting a 2025 Legion Player Showcase event, Location and Date TBD. As I have more details I will let you know. I anticipate a schedule “black out” the day of the event so there are no game conflicts for those wishing to participate.
