Legion Team H.S. Eligibility and Recruiting
PARENTS, PLAYERS, COACHES AND MANAGERS
Please keep in mind, that a player has the option to play for the team closest to the High School attended or the team closest to his home address (aka-parent’s domicile). (Refer to JR -or- SR Legion Rule Book – Plan B Rule 4 paragraph C.)
Parents, players or coaches shall use Google Maps for determining distances from a player’s home or school to determine the team they eligible to try-out for. If you are released from the closest team, you go to the next closest, etc, etc, until you find a team or decide not to play Legion Baseball.
Enter the name/address of your high school or the address of your legal residence as of March 31st of the playing season to get the distance to the high school you are questioning. Make sure that you choose the shortest distance when determining your mileage distances.
